About UsWorking my way through college while attending culinary school, I learned the meaning of hard work and the value of the right tool for the job. It was during those times of long days, high stress, and little sleep when I found that a dull knife can dramatically increase your work in the kitchen over a shift. Further, my clients and frequent regulars would always ask me what is the best knife to have in the kitchen. I found myself in a position of where I wanted to seek out this knowledge and bring it to the masses. After studying advanced ceramics over the past 20 years from the US to Japan, I have complied a large amount of industry knowledge.
This site is a culmination of all that I have seen and tried along the way. My friends in the kitchen and the science community have also contributed to make this site what it is.
