Some other ceramic coated cookware and utensils require only washing by hand. A general rule for each one of them is to cool down before cleaning. Soak them in hot water before cleaning, then clean them with soapy water, soft sponge, and thoroughly remove any food residues. Also, before storing the ceramic cookware don’t forget to dry it well.
If you are an experienced cook you are familiar with stuck burnt food on the surface of your pans and pots. The same goes for ceramics, so how do you get it off without causing any damage to the surface? Simply fill your cookware with water, put the water to boil and add some baking soda when it starts boiling. Leave it for few more minutes and then gently and smoothly go over the leftovers with your wooden spoon. Finally, rinse and wash when it cools down and you’re good to go. It sounds simple, right? Well, it actually is.
